This defect is no longer an issue with lmi-20130719T1951Z and can be closed. The Mec Avoidance option 'increase the specified amount' was removed from all interfaces.

Using lmi-20070529Z and xml_notebook_coli_boli.xrc,
consider:

F | N | I
plan tab - Mec Avoidance 'Allow MEC',
use the default product
payments tab - Individual payment 0
solve tab - SolveEePrem, FromYear 1 ToYear 10,
endowment at current input %
face tab - 50000, a
ok

edit cell
plan tab - change Mec Avoidance to 'Increase specified amount'
solve tab - the SolveEePrem (as well as others) has been
disabled, 'SolveNone' is system chosen
return to plan tab - revert Mec Avoidance to 'Allow MEC'
solve tab - solves remain disabled, cannot choose
'SolveEePrem'
