Closed until somebody can reproduce it

I haven't been able to reproduce the error while running gdb.
I have had subsequent crashes, but I wasn't running gdb :(
Perhaps call it good for now??

New for this one? I'd like to release 0.8.3 as soon as possible.

run:
gdb gchempaint
then r (return)

and when the program crashes (when run in gdb, it just seems to freeze): bt (return)

OK I'll try.
How do you get a "backtrace from gdb?" Excuse my ignorance!

I can't reproduce.
If you could find a reproducible way to fire the crash and get a backtrace from gdb, it would be very useful.

Yes, I did print before this crash happened. But other times that this happened I did not print anything.

Looks more like a printing issue. Did you print your document, or export an eps file? All the messages in your log might be related to printing.

I have noticed that the program sometimes just crashes.
According to my attempts to reproduce this result, trying to do Shift + Key is the suspect. The following is what is dumped in the terminal when it crashed:

tak@tak1150:~$ gchempaint
