F5 and F6 (like other function keys) are only default keys in WeeChat. You can remap all keys (with /key command) if they are used by a window manager or any other app. Please look at our documentation for default keys and ways to remap them.

Moreover, there's Alt+left/right arrow which is equivalent to F5/F6.

For me it's not a WeeChat bug. If you agree, I'll close this item.
If you think there's a bug somewhere, please explain problem.

There is no problem when it's runned from konsole or yakuake on KDE. But when it's runned from the console that is opened when CTRL + ALT + FX key combination has been pressed F5 didn't do its job (F5 and F6 should be switching between windows)
