This is not a Straw problem. Straw uses the Gnome facilities to open the URL, and Gnome uses whatever you have configured in Desktop Preferences -> Advanced -> Preferred Applications -> Web Browser. I have configured the browser command to be galeon-snapshot -w "%s", where -w tells Galeon to use an existing process. You should configure it to be whatever is the equivalent in Mozilla.

When clicking on the "go>>" link to read the full article Straw attempts to launch a fresh copy of your web browser. Every time. So in the case of Mozilla once you have viewed one story you are presented with the "choose a profile" dialogue.

This doesn't seem like the right behaviour. I would expect the next story to replace the previous one in the browser window.

I have noticed that straw reports the following errors which clicking on the link:

LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library libXt.so [libXt.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory]
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library libXext.so [libXext.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory]

Is this related to the problem?
