It was reported by other users, and it's now fixed in dev branch of git repository (it's not recommended to test it, IRC plugin is not stable today).

So it will be ok in version 0.2.7 (scheduled in some months).

Hello,

first, let me say a big 'Thank you' for this fantastic client. The killer feature for me is the vertical split, which I didn't find anywhere else.

Weechat seems to be very trigger-happy wrt. wakeups from sleep. A powertop output like this is pretty usual:

Wakeups-from-idle per second : 195,1 interval: 10,0s

Top causes for wakeups:
71,7% (145,4) weechat-curses : schedule_timeout (process_timeout)
9,9% ( 20,0) <interrupt> : ohci1394, ipw3945

Even though I have lots of other processes running (full Gnome desktop, firefox, lots of terminals, Pidgin, etc.) weechat causes the vast majority of CPU wakeups which drains battery.

Is it possible to wake up less often?

Thanks, Martin
