In cvs:
[ D ] + arrow keys: move up/down one track vs move left/right one pixel.
[ D ] + S or F: move to previous/next snap position.
[ D ] + V: toggle vertical only on/off
[ DV ] Move vertical only

LOL
Before doing so I'll first convert the logic to use ClipGroups, so when that's in place it'll most likely be another one-liner to make that work :)

ah, just a small glitch.
The left/right arrows cause horizontal movement.
Would be a killer when up/down arrow would place the clip one track up/down.

Excellent idea! You've just written it down what I had in mind for some time now :)
Sometimes you need other people who have to "say" it, since I've missed this feature badly hehe.

Hi,
when dragging a clip (and later on groups as well) to another track it would be nice, but sometimes really important, to keep the start position.
Key Sequence could be:
[ D V ] == _D_rag _V_ertical
