In the FAQ, it mentions:

"pointers are 16 bits (function pointers are word addresses, to allow addressing the whole 128K program memory space on the ATmega devices with > 64 KB of flash ROM)."

While true that function pointers are word addresses, the remaining text is unclear. Regardless of the size of the program memory space, function pointers are limited to the first 64K words (128K bytes) of program memory space. The statement, as written is true, but unclear.
