On Mac IE5, if you login successfully as user X, but try to click on a link that you don't have rights to (say "user management") you get the authorisation window.
Regardless of if you press CANCEL or OK here, the previous successful authorisation is now lost from IE5/MAC.
That means that you can't even access those objects that you have access rights to (unless of course, if you log in again, which can be a bit confusing, because you might have already tried that with an object you DON'T have access to).
FIX: show only those links/objects to users that they have access to. Otherwise automatic authorisation in Mac/IE5 will break down
