I've done a new system similar in purpose to hidden forbidden called "immobile units", basically a simple array in Map. Its done slightly differently than hidden forbidden and should work perfectly in all scenarios without any junk in the immobile units array.

Also noticed that your map lags allot at the beginning on my system. However, when I compile with optimization, it can easily make the frame-rate using only half cpu.

like in the screen shot attached units don't find their target around fighting warriors.
this has been solved by bradley's hidden forbidden areas, which were broken them self and removed again for that.

I see two options:
1) pointToPoint pathfind to a spot closer to the target using A* as soon as the path is blocked
2) fix hidden forbidden

I am in favour of hidden forbidden as it proved effective and should be by far simpler than using A*.
