committed a fix in glusterfs--mainline--3.0--patch-76 for this. Now afr reports the df output of subvolume with minimum free disk available

Amar,
Yes it will be safer for glusterfs to show the disk info of the
smallest disk. Let the bug be open as of now.

Its not an bug as such and we have discussed it. So, its advised to use same space for both of AFR's child nodes.

An information is given there.

Krishna,
As now we don't have the problem of multiple replication options in an afr, isn't it be good to show the output of smaller subvolume? I am just thinking. Till you reply, this thread will be open.

Regards,
Amar

forgot to add:
I'm using debian and gentoo versions 1.3.7

And OT question - is there any chance to limit total size of exported drive (excluding: creating partitions on server)?

Hello,
in afr type, drive size is shown always same as biggest exported drive (or directory on that drive) where (in my logic) it supposed to be shown as smallest one. Since afr is some like RAID-1 so it will be impossible to store on exported drive, fully backed up data when we go over physical limit of one drive.
