This is fixed in svn.
the problem was that the Game object had connections for player objects that got replaced (with new player objects that have the same id) when the player stands up/sits down.

When the player sits down as the active player, the game window doesn't seem to show the events for that player properly. When a stack is moved along a path, the stack instantly appears at the final point in the stack. The move is still adjudicated, etc, but the waypoints in the middle don't appear to be ever drawn.
Attacking a city happens immediately, without showing a fight, and the conquer dialog never pops up.

To reproduce, do the following:
Start a network game. Sit down as the first 2 players.
End the first player's turn.
End the second player's turn.
Sit down as the third player
Move a stack, and the behaviour will be seen.
