Could you please attach the output of the same command run with the `-t' option (`cvs -t checkout whatever')?
Also, if you know how to attach a debugger to the client and/or server process, a stack trace could be very helpful as well.
Hi All, I am using cvs client on HP-Unix: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.22 (client/server) HP-UX B.11.11 U
when i checkout from cvs server, the cvs is creating an empty file as: .new.sync with 0 bytes and hanging there with the following output:
bash-3.2# cvs update -d -P . ? .new.inmsync cvs update: Updating .
There are no space problems, but cvs checkouts just hangs. I verified on other machines it is working fine.
I uninstalled and installed cvs client again. But getting the same problem.
Thanks and Regards, Vivek
