Sorry, I didn't recognize your fix until now...

It works for me with the latest svn. Thanks.

Fixed in svn. Can you confirm that it works for you?

Still like in the last post: The options do not change by changing the difficulty level. You have to click "edit options" additionally, then the change takes effect.

I think choosing a difficulty level is not working. You need to press the edit options button, or your options are ignored.

Example:
- Start a game with a full map from the beginning.
- End it.
- New Game: choose "I'm the lord of war" and DON'T press "edit options"
- Start Game: You see the map although you shouldn't.

But now changing the difficulty level in "New Game" dialog doesn't affect the shown percentage immediately. This happens not before pressing the "Edit options" button and then closing "Game options".

The rest is working as expected.

Ah! Now I understand. Thanks for the clarification.

Example of what I expect:
Let's say I'm choosing "I am the Lord Of War!" then the appropriate difficulty affecting options in the "Game options" dialog (pressing "Edit options" button) should be enabled/disabled and not those of "Custom".
If I change something, this should be the new "Custom" setting.

Advantages:
- I can change non difficulty affecting options without automatically being switched to "Custom" difficulty.
- I would also know which options belong to which difficulty.

By the way, I could also solve the miracle, how to reach 100% when I choosed "Custom" difficulty ;-)

Can you describe the behaviour you were expecting?

In the game preferences dialog, setting the difficulty goes back to Custom when one presses "Edit options".
