contained in config.log is:
HAVE_TV_NSEC=''
meaning, there is no error. It's silently ignored.

Hi Swankier,
Sorry if my reply looked wrong, I never meant you were lying. Actually, I don't have access to a FreeBSD machine right now, so couldn't go through the exact problem myself. Hence I asked for the output of configure & make.

Amar

when gluster crashes on FreeBSD, it doesn't include the nt_nsec in the output.
The ./configure code does not properly handle FreeBSD.
Could you try a compile on FreeBSD for yourself, or perhaps request the specific information you need?
It's not there. Scout's honour, I wouldn't lie about it.

We already have check for tv_nsec, and have corresponding reference to tv_nsec of stat structure inside #ifdef HAVE_TV_NSEC code, (which is set by ./configure).
So, if you give the build failure logs, it will help to pin point such places, and fix the errors sooner.
Thanks for report.

Amar
