The trouble here is that the installer is missing the needed
runtime libraries.

Yes you are right
this should be the case.
We should fix this for the next release,
We do not usually ship binary release but for the windows
platform :-)

The preferred release format is source.
Would you be able to compile CERTI yourself on
a development box and then install it on the non-dev one?
[then you may be able to build the release version]

You should find suitable building instruction there:

If you are not able to do it I'll try to rebuild
release version of the installer.

You should open a Savannah account (which is free)
and login before submitting a bug report.
This way you'll get automatic e-mail follow-up.

I've been trying to use CERTI on a non-development Windows machine, using the latest release version (with the windows installer).

It kept giving me errors saying the application configuration was incorrect.

I traced the problem down to it being unable to find the required dlls - mscvm80D.dll and mscvp80D.dll.

It looks as if RTIG and RTIA were compiled for debug rather than release.
