Yes, there's /ban, but I'll make channel optional in /mode command (no channel will mean current channel).

You have /ban command that do this for /mode +b.

If you're on a IRC channel, you should be able to do something like:

/mode +b -unavailable- (to ban that mask from channel)
This is standard behavior in most clients, but Weechat responds with +b: No such nick/channel

It should assume, if you're on a channel and you do /mode, you want to set a channelmode, if you want to set a usermode, perhaps /umode should be implemented and /mode on the server buffer should imply that you want to set a usermode (unless you specify a channel after /mode)
