this problem is currently worked on (happens only with some version of libc and libc++).

The follow-up comment: for special/other Qt installation path, it's possibly to give them as argument to ./configure, try ./configure --help for the available options)

I have this EXACT SAME PROBLEM :(
It seems when ./configure 'ng protux, it cannot compile the test program it does when 'looking' to see if mustux is installed. It fails with this in the config.log:

configure:7306: checking for mustux.h

I had to modify the configure script and add the location for qt libs and includes, as it doesn't properly take those into account and fails. I also don't understand why those funky errors about qt include - I don't normally have any problems at all compiling kde or qt progs. As to the undefined references in libmustux, you tell me. It is the same release as protux (both are 0.16.0).

I can just manually override the detection and define mustux include and libmustux in the config.h, and then it will compile up to the 'rewind' error then it stops.

Too bad since protux looks very nice :(

KDE 3.1/QT 3.1.1
Alsa 0.93
glibc 2.3.2
linux kernel 2.4.20-ck6

I allways get the following error when compiling any verion of protux (0.16, 0.17, latest cvs) - libmustux compiles and installs fine, tried all verions of libmustux from 0.16 to latest cvs. I'm using SuSE 8.1, KDE3.1/ QT 3.1.1, ALSA 0.90rc7.
