Fixed in svn.

The problem was that the current player when we were quitting wasn't a human player. E.g. it's the end of a round, and we figure out that the computer players are going to surrender.

When quitting the engine sends a signal that tells the current player to abort the turn. That signal was being caught by real players, but not by artificial intelligence players. It was just a matter of catching that signal, and firing another one that causes the game to end.

Thanks for pointing this bug out and helping to improve lordsawar!

Hi Ben,

I'm attaching a game which is one turn away from winning. Thank you for checking this out.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for posting this bug. Can you please upload a saved game file that is one turn away from winning? I'll have a look at it on the weekend.

thanks,

Ben

Hi Ben,

This report is a duplicate of #24916, except I'm seeing this often using Ubuntu 9.04 with LordsAWar 0.5.1-1. After winning a game, it isn't possible to exit the game from the LordsAWar GUI. I usually have to shell out and kill it's process. Are there some debug parameters I could use to be able to give you some detailed logs or more information?

Thanks!
Jon

Attached is a screenshot of the prompt asking to quit the game. Nothing happens when you answer "yes".
