Did you take a look at the Windows readme:

http://svn.savannah.nongnu.org/viewvc/trunk/rdiff-backup/Windows-README.txt?root=rdiff-backup&view=markup

Please reopen if you have further questions.

I can't get rdiff-backup.exe to work when using e.g.
D:\febe P:\backups\febe notation:

Fatal Error: Bad rdiff-backup-data dir on destination side

The rdiff-backup data directory
p:\backups\febe/rdiff-backup-data
exists, but we cannot find a valid current_mirror marker. You can
avoid this message by removing the rdiff-backup-data directory;
however any data in it will be lost.

Probably this error was caused because the first rdiff-backup session
into a new directory failed. If this is the case it is safe to delete
the rdiff-backup-data directory because there is no important
information in it.

The rdiff-backup metadata directory is created in the target, but nothing else happens. I tried different notations for the drive letters (cygwin notation etc.), but couldn't make it run. Any ideas?
