I am using 2.6.32.3-libre-lemote and webcam doesn't work with cheese neither in photo or video mode.

It worked before only in photo mode but I can't remember what the kernel was.

Need to test cheese with most recent 2.6.32 build; was working before.

Someone on gnewsense-dev mailing list did an ekiga backport; need to look into that.

Also should try Empathy.

I think cheese was working with some additional modules compiled - see if http://config.fsf.org/misc/linux-image-2.6.31.6-libre11-fsf3_2.6.31.6-libre11-fsf3-10.00.Custom_mipsel.deb works for you with cheese (note that this version has no initrd, so don't put one in your boot.cfg)

I am using gNewSense metad mipsel on my lemote yeeloong fully updated and with kernel 2.6.31.6.

Cheese:
Webcam works only with cheese in photo mode.
If you switch it to video mode it crashes.

Ekiga:
it opens but no video is shown.
