I think this is no longer a problem with Parkes.

kristianpaul said he would look into making a .deb of this; just pinged him on IRC, and asked for his savannah username.

The deb package sources of this file are in http://kristianpaul.org/~paul/debian/yeeloong/
Please test comment and upload the mipsel binary somewhere :)

This is from http://www.mail-archive.com/gnewsense-dev@nongnu.org/msg00778.html - file mentioned is included as an attachment to the ticket in case the dyndns site goes away.

I wrote an ad-hoc replacement for syndaemon that works without
synaptics driver on Yeeloong. It's available at
http://taku2ro.dyndns.org/neurodaemon.c (single C source file).
Compile it as the end section of the file says. Basically it is a modified version of syndaemon, so it accepts all the option that syndaemon accepts.

I know this does not clear up the root of the problem, but it works!

The methods this small program adopts to disable mouse are a little awkward. If you know clever ways to do this, please let me know.

Thanks,
