There is need for the possibility to have a RAM referencing pbuf type. Just like PBUF_ROM, but different in the fact that lwIP must copy the data itself if lwIP wants to use it later.

Suggestion: PBUF_REF.

Implementation: much like PBUF_ROM. In addition, lwIP must make private copies if it enqueues the pbuf for own use later on.

Note: Might go hand-in-hand with a simplification of the pbuf.c architecture which has become very complex with lots of exceptions. The idea of a single pool of referencing PBUFs allocated from a powers-of-2 memory pool, is found most attractive during earlier discussions on the lwip-users and -members mailing list.

Note: This might be a substantial architectural challenge rectifying a seperate development branch.
