The recently synced packages work well for me. Thank you all.

I hung out in #gnash for a bit. Rob Savoye uploaded trunk11852 to deb-repo, which depends on boost >= 1.35.0-1. I tried it with our 1.35.0 packages and it works. He's going to build new packages for gNewSense too.
Ignore my earlier comment about deb-repo. Apparently those packages really are for Debian and the gnewsense tree is still updated. I wonder if we really need our own mipsel packages, though. The ones for Debian seem to work. The only difference (according to Rob) is that the gNewSense packages are built on Lemote hardware, so no special compiler flags.

By the way, there seems to be a proper repo now at http://getgnash.org/deb-repo/ .

Is this bug report for i386, mipsel or all architectures? I'm assuming mipsel, because that's the only arch for which packages have been synced from getgnash, it seems.
I managed to install gnash version 11800trunk. When I ran it in a terminal it complained about a libboost library. I had libboost-thread1.34.1 and libboost-date-time1.34.1 installed. After I replaced both with 1.35.0 (from our repo) gnash ran OK. Package gnash-common depends on 1.34.1, 1.35.0 or higher versions of both libraries. So 1.34.1 should be removed from the dependencies.

I just manually synced from http://getgnash.org/packages/snapshots/debian/lenny/ . Hopefully these packages will become available in the next two-three days.

gnash is meant to be synced in automatically from getgnash.org.

Sorry, this is still not fixed. I haven't seen a new version in the repositories for a while. Looking at the buildd mailing list it looks like it's failing due to autotools problems. I've found a bug in libtool on Debian which I'll post a link to on bug #28691 (Autoconf not installable).

I'm guessing we've synced in the new packages by now - Eric, can you confirm this is fixed?

Running gnash from the command line returns:
/usr/bin/gtk-gnash: error while loading shared libraries:
libgnashnet.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.
ldd /usr/bin/gtk-gnash | grep not returns:
libgnashnet.so.0 => not found
libgnashsound-trunk-20090313.so => not found
libgnashnet.so.0 => not found
libgnashsound-trunk-20090313.so => not found
None of these libraries are found in the gnash, gnash-common, or mozilla-plugin-gnash packages.
There's been recent discussion on the gnash-dev mailing list regarding this starting at http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/gnash-dev/2009-12/msg00050.html. http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/gnash-dev/2009-12/msg00056.html suggests this is a bug in the building of the deb packages which was fixed in gnash trunk r11723. http://getgnash.org/packages/snapshots/gnewsense/ contains builds for amd64 and mipsel of gnash trunk, of this revision and newer.
