Anonymous, could you try the version in git? It has a different http backend that seems to have fixed these intermittent errors for me.

I get these errors every so often in Windows.

error in process sentinel: xml-parse-region: Wrong type argument: number-or-marker-p, nil
error in process sentinel: Wrong type argument: number-or-marker-p, nil

It works fine otherwise since I have curl and wget installed.

Restarting emacs doesn't solve the problem.

Running Win XP, Emacs 23.1.50.1, and the latest stable identica.el (as of Mar 4,2010).
