It was apparently an error in BIND configuration for loopback IPv6 resolution. For the record, here is the configuration which works:

Warning for the tests: it depends on the network where the client is. It occurs with name servers which are both authoritative and recursive (for some networks).

When trying to check our zone, the program ends with fatal error "Loopback is not resolvable" from bubo.tul.cz./2001:718:1C01:16::AA. It is simply not true - dig running on the same host is able to resolve both forward and reverse queries regarding the loopback from bubo.tul.cz (see attached file).

It seems to be some IPv6-related problem, because after deploying -4 option the fatal error dismissed.
