This is from an idea in the forums. A user asked for locking several audioclips at once.

A function to [b] lock the audioclips lying in the scope of a metronome clip [/b] seems to make sense. The metronomeclip itself should also be locked with this action.

Perhaps some other similar functionality associated to metronomeclips would also make sense. For example a function to [b] select the metronomeclip along with the audioclips in its scope[/b] (in order to move them later or whatever).

For a human friendly implementation, I'd suggest that an audioclip should be considered "under the scope" of a metronomeclip if the 90% of it (or more) shares timeline with that metronomeclip. From another P.O.V, perhaps a 10% (or more) criterion would also make sense. Either way, pure 100% (or 0.00001%) criteria should be avoided imo.
