Mario, you're being invasive.

Please remove yourself from this project and stop working on this issue. Let some time pass to think about it and talk with other Savannah admins.

You are not a developer of the project.  I won't allow you
to modify our web pages.

I apply the patch myself to the webpage.  However, the manual needs
license change (See
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/avrdude-dev/2010-04/msg00016.html).

Don't get confused free software is a matter of freedom, freeware
usually is a matter of zero price.  Read carefully my first message,
I'm talking about free software, not freeware.

I attaced a patch againsting the AVRDUDE mainpage containing the
required changes, please apply it.

"free software" is a much less binding term than "open source".
For example, Microsoft claims that its "Internet Explorer"
is freeware.  I don't want to put AVRDUDE onto the same level
as Microsoft's Internet Explorer.

We need to change refences to Linux as an OS to GNU/Linux and open
source to free software.  I post this task so the issue don't get lost
in the mailing list.
