Ah yes. The savefile format changed from an xml file, to a tarball file. Right now the code tries to extract the tarball to see what version it is, and does not check to see if it's dealing with a tarball.

Lordsawar doesn't attempt any backwards compatibility, but it's definitely a bug that it crashes when given a file that isn't a tarball.

Ubuntu 10.04 has ver 0.1.6 by default, 0.1.9 always generated segfault... the reason seemed to be old autosave.sav file. It crashed tarhelper somehow.
