Just tried shutdown of 2.88dsf with

shutdown -k -h +61

and after 60 seconds I see the shutdown message and
the next nanosleep(2) system call of 60 seconds and
so on by using strace.

Something is wrong with the time handling in shutdown when you try to schedule a shutdown :
shutdown -h +mm is working iff mm is below 60 or a multiple of 60
Even with explicit time, if the delay between current time and specified time is not below 60 or a multiple of 60, it does not work...
The command just hangs...need to ^C...
