Bug was with masks (ignore was ok with nick). It was introduced in 0.3.2, fixed for future 0.3.4.
When you add an ignore based on hostname/hostmask, messages from that host will still be shown.
I've tried by ignoring Flashcode:
/ignore add re:.*@zeta\.flashtux\.org +verbatim+ yet his messages were still coming through. Log from the conversation: +verbatim+ 20100809 16:31:34 <FiXato|VPS> FlashCode: all in-channel messages at least; haven't tried it with private messages yet <FiXato|VPS> else I can try again on you, and you can say something in the channel? I'll try with: /ignore add re:.*@zeta\.flashtux\.org <@FlashCode> sure, try <FiXato|VPS> added FlashCode <@FlashCode> test, can you read? <FiXato|VPS> yes, I can read it in channel <@FlashCode> hmm ok, I'll make some tests with ignore later, I'm busy now <FiXato|VPS> 20100809 16:32:56*freenode --> | :FlashCode!~FlashCode@zeta.flashtux.org PRIVMSG #weechat :test, can you read? <FiXato|VPS> that was the irc_raw log <@FlashCode> ok, and what is output of /ignore ? <@FlashCode> the regex displayed <FiXato|VPS> irc: ignore added: [3] mask: .*@zeta\.flashtux\.org / server: * / channel: * +verbatim+ This bug is still present in 0.3.3-rc3, git checkout 06b166c07a71dcb01aadcf764d84877991a9c5ce (August 4 2010, 21:23:58 2010 +0200)
