I understand some people would need ubuntu repository, but unfortunately I have no time to do that (and I don't have ubuntu). I'm developer, and I think repositories is job of distributions ;)

Hello,

thanks, this was problem with weechat version 0.3, in version 0.3.3 jabber.py everything works correctly.

It is possible to create ubuntu or debian repositories? There is https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories/Personal howto for this, I think it should be more easier for users add one or two lines to sources.list for latest updates, because the stable .deb in distribution is usually too old.

Hi,
Please give exact version of jabber.py script, and most important thing, please use and report bug for latest WeeChat stable version (currently 0.3.3). Old versions like 0.3.0 are not maintained any more.
Please tell me if you have same problem with 0.3.3.
(you can find packages of 0.3.3 for ubuntu on weechat.org)

Moreorver, for crach reports, please follow instructions in doc:
http://weechat.org/files/doc/stable/weechat_user.en.html#report_crashes

Thank you.
