This is really strange - I never heard about such a problem in the last ten years :-( .

At that time storeBackup sets time, date, user and group for each file but doesn't care if it's not possible (maybe because you do not have permissions to do so). So there's no reason to stop.

Can you retry the backup? Are you running storebackup as root?
