May be we should make the RTIG.log file creation "optional"
RTIG executable is trying to create a log file in its working directory thus the error. Even if you installed CERTI in /opt/certi you *launch* rtig anywhere else by either a) explicitely calling /opt/certi/bin/rtig b) update your PATH in order to make rtig appear in the path Note that for updating you path you may source a script shipped with CERTI /opt/certi/share/scripts/myCERTI_env.[c]sh depending if you use Bourne or C-Shell this script will update the PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH for the concerned CERTI installation.
Hi everyone, I installed CERTI 3.3.3 on a laptop (32 bits processor with Ubuntu Karmic). I noticed that, whatever the directory I may choose for $HOME/CERTI, I always get a failure when I try lo launch rtig from $HOME/CERTI/bin. As a result, if I install CERTI in the directory "/opt/certi", I will get the following error message: damien@BOSS:/opt/certi/bin$ ls billard CertiUtilTests hlaomtdif2cpp.py rtia rtig damien@BOSS:/opt/certi/bin$ rtig Could not open Audit file RTIG.log . terminate called after throwing an instance of 'certi::RTIinternalError' Abando The only solution to circumvent this trouble consists in launching "rtig" from the directory "build_certi/RTIG", even if CERTI_HOST et PATH have been modidified accordingly. damien@BOSS:~/certi/certi-3.3.3-Source/build_certi/RTIG$ rtig CERTI RTIG 3.3.3 - Copyright 2002-2008 ONERA This is free software ; see the source for copying conditions.
