Note: this refers to the version of Holotz-castle in gNewSense deltah. I haven't compiled the slightly updated version from source from the Debian Squeeze repositories yet. Once I do, I'll make a post about whether the same problem applies to that version.
When I started running the program, an ad for other games at fatalfun.com appeared. Fatalfun.com does not host the source code or the copyright status for those other games. I contacted the people behind the website to ask about the copyright status of the games and acquiring the source code, and was informed that the games will be released under a free software license soon. However, currently they're not under a free license, so effectively Holotz Castle begins with an ad for non-free games. Below is my correspondence with the individual behind the website:

Hi,
Thank you very much for getting back to me on such short notice. I am
still interested, so if you could email me when the source code and
binaries are available and under what copyright license, that would be
really great. Thanks!
Adam

Hi,
Those were commercial altough not anymore. I was planning to release
the full source code and binaries but that
will happen in the coming weeks, if you are still interested I can
drop you an email to tell you when they are ready.
Kind regards,
Juan Carlos.
