Thanks for testing. Fixed in 1.2.0, just released.

If you'd like to test r143 in bzr (http://bzr.sv.nongnu.org/r/libpipeline/trunk, or should be mirrored to lp:libpipeline shortly), then that would be great. It needs a -version-info bump before release due to the added API, but that won't be a problem for local testing.

OK, I'll add this. It will need to be pipeline_get_pid (m_proc, n) for a command index n, though, as a pipeline may contain multiple processes.

I am working on a thin wrapper library around vpnc which should return the pid of an instance upon start. Primarily to map the pid to the application's connection item and prevent multiple connections of the same kind. Also it then can easily differ between vpnc processes controlled by the application and others.

It would be very nice to have a pipeline_get_pid for this.

Usage would look like this:

pid_t Vpnc::pid()
{
return pipeline_get_pid(m_proc);
}

pid_t Vpnc::start()
{
pipeline_start(m_proc);
return pid();
}
