State information in the URL is now saved also to the UserInfo object. When state information is not found from the URL it is
fetched from the UserInfo object.
(This is not exactly what we decided... however this solves
the problem of losing state information when quitting the browser
and at the time makes it possible to use multi window browsing...)

Adding a link to your webtop from KB does not hold the state information, just the reference to a certain KB note. If the ordering and visibility of contexts should be a more presistent choice, then we're talking about a new feature of storing view preferences into each course for each user. If this is indeed a desired property, then we'll need to look into it.

Janne's advice of saving modifications of the KB works well if you are always using the same computer. But usually people use FLE from different machines (at home, at school etc.) and then the bookmarks don't help. I tried to add to my WebTop a link to modified KB, but it didn't work and I got an error message.

State information (including which contexts are hidden) is stored in URL. If you check the location bar of your web browser you should see
something like state_url=some_mystical_string at the end of the URL.
To fix your problem: Modify your contexts to shown/hidden as you wish, then go to page that you want to use as a starting page (e.g. WebTop) and bookmark that page on your browser. Next time when
you start working with FLE3, go to that bookmark.

I was working several times a day from a modem connection and noticed that that the function of hide context only applied while online. Therefore, with a new connection the hidden contents were fully visible again. Is there a possibility to have the those choices remembered until changed by hand?
