Similarly, bringing up the config dialog and switching to a completely different database (no transaction) also behaves the same.

bokeep.gui.mainwindow.hide_transaction doesn't appear to be called at all.

To reproduce: create two books. Install one plugin on one book, install a different plugin on the other.

Create a new transaction in one book and then switch to the other book. User-interface from the plugin from the first book (with transaction) will stay stuck, new interface won't take its place.

This may be related to bug #32815.

Verrified in tag: 1.0.2, changeset 34ed4ff91e96, and a few change sets in between.
