Turns out I reintroduced bug #32906 while applying Ivan's patch (which was too old to have the original fix in it).

Fixed, thanks for reporting.

1. What do you mean with "current version"? Do you mean the released 1.4.0 or CVS HEAD after adding IPv6 support?

CVS HEAD is currently in progress of a big change, and not all configuration options are tested well in such cases. I'm therefor thankful for testers reporting things like this! I do have a big change in line to commit and have to do that before checking the CORE_LOCKING code.

2. That's a leftover of Ivan's patch. These lines are already deleted in my local copy, which I'm about to check in.

1.
sockets.c:

bug #32906: lwip_connect+lwip_send did not work for udp and raw pcbs with LWIP_TCPIP_CORE_LOCKING==1.

I think we need to check whether there are similar problems, that bring the old bug in the current version.

2.
tcp.c:<line352>
the comment does not meet the usual style of lwip.
