Pushed http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/identica-mode.git/commit/?h=devel&id=810f25e9a28b94b80a81c5d6505f8b84b405e304 to the devel branch, please let me know if this breaks anything, AFAICT this didn't do anything other than kill the buffer in this situation, I don't know why we would want to do that, and even if we do it needs to be kept from killing other buffers.

This is definitely because of:
(unless (get-buffer-process (current-buffer))
(kill-buffer (current-buffer))))

At the end of identica-http-get-default-sentinel. What purpose does this serve? Can we just get rid of it?

When an network error occurs (network disconnection or no internet service), identica-mode prompts for a retry. If you answer yes, it won't retry but will kill the buffer. Answering no also kills the buffer.
