The Web browser Konqueror shows a "Conquer your Desktop" overview page when it starts. On it is a link to "Specifications". That page has links to download pages of non-free software: Adobe Flash, Realplayer, Blackdown Java [1] and Sun Java [2].

A free distribution should not encourage users to download and install non-free software.

Confirmed for both metad and Parkes.

[1] http://www.blackdown.org is actually some Asian website now. I don't know what it's about, but I'm guessing not Java.
[2] http://java.sun.com redirects to a Java 6 download page. To my knowledge that's not the IcedTea version and thus non-free.
