I also thought about using a CAS to make JLP able to represent expressions as complex as (a+(b/c)^(2*pi)), with a, b, c constants. Maybe something like http://code.google.com/p/symja/, or http://krum.rz.uni-mannheim.de/jas/ . This would permit JLP to solve the constant parts of a problem and represent it as an LP problem (without constants) when needed.
