Hey,

thanks for the packages. Arch Linux is now officially my second favorite distribution. You guys are always the first to package my stuff. Debian which is my favorite since it's the only one I've ever used really is probably the last. But such is life.

Please open the three issues you have with Techne as separate bug reports in Techne's bug tracker which you can find here:

http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?func=additem&group=techne

Open another report here since you can't get Slipstream to run. Also start it from the console with the command slipstream-browser and describe what you're trying to do and any messages that might look interesting.

I'm closing this one. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi, thanks for your quick fix.
It downloads fine, and builds fine.
Btw, i find more issues.
First of all the missing "fill" (fill the arch) parameter,
for plarc in plotting.c (techne), prevents techne 0.2.2 to be
built without a patch (building against plplot 5.9.8).
Also, for system having lpack (lua library), there is
a conflict with the pack module included in techne, it
works only removing lpack.
I have to use an ode built with --disable-asserts or
I'll get an
ODE INTERNAL ERROR 1: assertion "bNormalizationResult" failed in _dNormalize4() [../../include/ode/odemath.h]
error.
At the end, i cannot still get slipstream to run, it hangs
after hitting load and stuck on 10% loading.

Surely this is not the place to issue all this.
I'll consider opening single bugs on single projects, to not
mess everything ;)

FYI, i've uploaded a package for Archlinux (AUR) at

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=52417
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=52418

(some dependencies have to be updated first to get it,
at least, run)

It would be nice if you show me your preferred place to
discuss about all this issues, so i can report all i have
to, in order to get slipstream finally work.

And yep, you can consider this bug closed ;)

Ummm, right, yes, that was indeed a minor oversight on my part. Thanks for pointing it out! I have prepared a new package which I actually tried installing before shipping. It should be ok now. I have uploaded it to the download area but it may be a little while before it is replicated in your local mirror. I think you can get it immediately here though:

http://download-mirror.savannah.gnu.org/releases/slipstream/slipstream-0.1.tar.gz

The file should be 233kb big. If it's not too much trouble let me know if everything went ok so that I may close this issue.

Hi, i cannot build slipstream from source,
cause it miss every src subdirectory in it,
probably for an oversight.
Can you please repackage the source tarball? Thanks

Here is what i get, when i run make
(after ./configure --prefix=/usr):

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `tyres/motorcycle-180-55.lua', needed by `all-am'. Stop.
