The conversion of wedge6 to tet4 can generate 2 different faces because the quad can be split in tri using one of the 2 diagonals.

To avoid this, I made the conversion wedge to tet using an homogenous split (like tri3-x):
1) convert a wedge6 into a newly created wedge9, which includes 3 extra nodes on the centers of the quad faces
2) convert the wedge9 into tet4.

While doing that, I found out that the current vertices of the wedge6 generates a negative volume element (with inward face normals). Thus, I corrected the order of the vertices of the wedge6.

The new elements2.py is in attachment. I tested it on my cases. Can we replace the old one?

We have to create a new solution for such types. Four possibilities:
- getBorderMesh returns a list of Meshes
- create a multiple Mesh object (may replace fe.Model, and can be of other use)
- create a new function specially for multiple facet type elements.
- convert the element type to one with homogeneous facets.

I already started work for option 2, but is far from ready. A temporary solution along path 3 could therefore be used.

OTOH, I do not see any reason see why the conversion to 'tet4' and then taking the border mesh of the 'tet4' mesh would not work.

[field #13] Summary: getBorderMesh does not work with Wedge
[field #14] Original Submission: I d like to get a triangular border of a Wedge Mesh.
Because of mixed eltype, getBorderMesh does not work.
I have tried
WedgeMesh.convert('tet4').getBorderMesh()
but it does not work either
because the conversion of a wedge into tet4 is not unique.
