In revision 2511 a smarter exit dialog was added.
It can be switched off or set permanently in the configuration.

In rev 2354, an option has been added to close a project prior to
exit. Closing a project means that it won't be reloaded automatically on the next startup.

Wed 06 Jun 2012 09:00:12 AM UTC, original submission:

When you exit the pyFormex GUI (either by the FileMenu->Exit option or by clicking the Close Window button) while a named project is active, a dialog appears giving the possibility to save or not save the current project. There is no way however to cancel the exit.

This is annoying if neither of the provided options suits you, and you want to do something else instead (like closing the project). If you have 'reload last project on startup' flagged in your configuration, you have no way to avoid that.

It would be good to add to the final dialog:

  • a cancel option
  • a close project option
