I just tried what you advised me to do Martin and it works as a charm! Thank you! Since this dialog remembers the parameters per video and not per session, i think we can close this thread. :-)

Hello everyone,

this setting is already available under Preferences -> Current Video Settings. (This dialog changes parameters that are remembered per video and not per session).

Please try and see if it works.

Martin

You are correct Benoit Michel. I swapped the negative and positive values by accident. :-) Nice point. Thanks for the correction.

Hello,

I aggree with the subtitles request. However, I would add that common wisdom wants to have negative parallax in front of the screen (where eyes are crossing) and positive behind the screen (where eye gazes are almost parallel).

It would be wonderful if you could add a choice for stereoscopic subtitles with a parallax setting. That could be very easy to programm. On subtitles settings menu, you can add a check box for stereoscopic subtitles and a slider to adjust the parallax for the subtitles. The program will render the subtitles twice, one for each view. Subtitles should NOT swap whenever you click the "swap left/right" checkbox on the main screen. And last, the parallax adjustment slider should have negative and positive parallax settings. Initial position at the middle, parallax 0 means subtitles at screen plane. Negative parallax value means subtitles further than the screen plane and positive parallax value means subtitles pop out the screen. Easy to implement and a great feature for Bino.
