Too bad to hear that. Thanks a lot anyway.

There is nothing I can do. The second link definitely uses a different approach, but it is obfuscated well enough, that even after I got my hands on a dump of the communication over the network it was useless. It is unknown how the variables given to the player in the HTML code are related to the video. After the swf file is requested from the server, immediate request is made for a resource with URI that seems random/obfuscated/encrypted. The relation might be encoded in the swf file, but inspecting it with swfmill did not help.

The Olympics link is restricted by country, so no useful network dump was obtained.

I'm closing this bug report.

If you can provide new information on the issue, please feel free to reopen the bug report.

Based on the second link I doubt that even a dump of the network communication can help. Sorry.

True. The stream for the Olympics seems to be restricted by country/IP address. I've tried to connect over HTTP proxy with IP address in Spain, but so far I am unable to fetch any useful data from the XML files the site uses. So far it seems the only way to get some information, that might even prove that Linterna Mágica cannot work with this stream, would be to sniff the traffic wtioh tcpdump or Wireshark while the stream is playing.

The second link seems to be using a different approach/player/settings. It has some video IDs and I might be able to support it, but don't know for sure yet. For the first one with the Olympics, there is only a link to a settings XML file in the player configuration. I still cannot understand how they load a specific video.

Being the olypmics, there might be some restrictions with the locations outside of spain (distribution rights...). I don't know if it will have something to do with it.

This one is from the same tv channel, and should be open everywhere. Probably the problems will be the same, but just in case:

Hi,

I can't promise anything. I've examined some parts of the website to see if something can be used, but so far no luck. I'll investigate it further next couple of days if I am able to find the time.

Thanks for reporting.

Please, help me watch the olympics! There is no way to do this without Flash, because Gnash is not working.

This is a huge thing for me, please I'm begging you...

Thanks a lot!
