The current plan is to support slide shows via playlist functionality. See bug #33280.

Since this makes this bug a duplicate of #33280, I'm closing it.

I was happy to see that 3D slides (jps, mpo) have been added. Hats off for this enhancement.

But I could not figure out how to skip to the next slide. Also is there a zoom feature? Actually the capability of displaying a "film strip" thumbnail view would be super so you could click on the desired slide. I would opt for a vertical strip rather than a horizontal one. And the ability to display the file name or the embedded title (when available) would also be great. 3D PhotoMaker displays the file name if not in full screen mode, but the font is so small that it is fairly unreadable on an FPR monitor. 3DPM does have a zoom on the scroll wheel as well as a means for changing the horizontal and vertical offset. The offset adjustment is needed for formatting slides, but should not be necessary for viewing properly adjusted pictures. However when zooming a horizontal offset adjustment might be needed.

I would like to be able to run a 3D slide show with videos and other slides intermixed including mixed 3D/2D slides. So far I have not seen any programs that do this. So I am restricted to using Bino for movies and 3DPM for slides.
