"Technical Notes" submitted in the "GPSD Receiver Reporting Form" reqpeated here in case my browser stuffed up:

Currently an OEM module. Emits NMEA only. This device first appeared this year (2012).

Additional docs (occasionally contradicting the software guide) are:
product description http://www.telit.com/module/infopool/download.php?id=4642
hardware guide http://www.telit.com/module/infopool/download.php?id=4903

NMEA version is 2.2 according to software manual (section 2.4, "Messages"), but product description doc states "NMEA v3.01" (section 6.1 "NMEA Output Messages").

Module emits GNGSA messages in a group of three. My confirmed information is that the first GNGSA pertains to GPS, second to GLONASS, third to QZSS. It also emits GSV messages using talker id's GL,GP,QZ.

The docs only mention QZSS only a few times so assume it will updated in coming months with complete QZSS references. We see "$QZGSV" messages yet they are not mentioned in the software manual.

Output of proprietary command "Get the GNSS library version", "$PSTMGETSWVER", is "$PSTMVER,GNSSLIB_7.3.2.46_ARM"

Claimed PPS offset is -93ns with 15ns standard deviation (see product description doc).

This is observed on a Telit SL869 which uses a combined GPS/GLONASS/QZSS receiver.

The "satellites_used" field in a "struct gps_data_t" filled in by "gps_read" is always returning zero.

This module emits GNGSA messages in a group of three. My information is that the first GNGSA pertains to GPS, second to GLONASS, third to QZSS. It also emits GSV messages using talker id's GL,GP,QZ.

Module info plus a capture log has been uploaded via the GPSD Receiver Reporting Form.
