FTR, the 3.x version of the manual currently contains no references to that particular non-free program.

Online copy of the section: http://live.debia ... ual.en.html#4.4.6. Unlike e.g. dual-booting documentation mentioning a nonfree operating system, this isn't useful for migrating to gNewSense, while it might recommend to start using a nonfree program.

The package is Debian-specific, it will probably need other changes for gNewSense when we will have appropriate live-build changes done.
