Works in a way. Though, I´d expect Ctrl+C to copy only the selected cell instead of the whole row. Otherwise, copying a row might also be useful, so perhaps use Ctrl+C to copy a single cell and Ctrl+Shift+C to copy the whole row?

I have added code to enable selected part of the table data as well as Crtl+A to copy the complete table content. I hope that this will not break other short cuts.
Please check out and test.

Yes, because sometimes you only want to copy a specific cell or cell range.

It is way quicker to copy this from DataExplorer than exporting everything, opening the CSV (possibly fiddling with import settings), finding the correct value, and then copying it.

From beginning there is the capability to export the data as CSV. Well this will export complete data and not a selected part of it. But anyhow the CSV data can be opened by spread sheet application and reduce to data of interest. BTW, this is described in the documentation.
So knowing this, is there still this enhancement request?

It could be useful for some to have a copy function inside the data table. Pressing Ctrl+C would copy the selected cell or cell range into the clipboard to paste it into a spreadsheet program.

This might help:
